Growers from across the region have successfully completed Remote Pilot Licence and Agriculture Spray Drone training in Bowen, subsidised under the Smart Ag QLD program.
The Smart Ag QLD program subsidise’s each participant by 50% for the following training:
Multirotor Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) and AROC 25kg (cost: $2490 / $1245 pp with subsidy applied)
Spray Drone Type Endorsement (cost: $890 / $445 pp with subsidy applied).
The RePL consists of 5 days training, including 4 days of theory in an online instructor lead classroom, and 1 day of practical activities and flight test delivered in Bowen (date to be arranged following completion of theory).
