Biosecurity Queensland recently released a factsheet detailing the supply chain surveillance process for Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRFV) testing. While this surveillance has been in place since December 2024, it’s now especially relevant as our season gets underway. You can find the factsheet here. Additionally, the Queensland Movement Control Order (MCO) was updated on March 16 – you can view it here: http://tiny.cc/soye001
BGGA continues to represent our region and growers on the Queensland ToBRFV Industry Coordination Group, advocating for supply chain testing to include seedling sampling before they leave suppliers. If you have any questions or feedback, please reach out to Jenn or Carl.
